The Government of Odisha has started considering imposing anti-drone system for the protection of Sri Jagannath Temple of Puri. This system will be able to identify suspicious drones and deactivate them. The government has taken this step in the wake of recent drone activities and espionage allegations on a YouTube. SSMSV force is also deployed for security.

The wife of SSB Jawan, who lives in Jharsuguda district of Odisha, died during treatment after delivery. The jawans are stationed on the Indo-Bhutan border of Arunachal Pradesh on duty. His 15-day-old daughter is now with relatives. The state government is bringing the jawan back to attend the funeral.

During the incident, the school staff immediately closed the door of the room, introducing the understanding from which the snake could not exit. He then reported to the snake helpline. Two expert rescuers from the Snake Helpline team from Chikiti in Ganjam district, Ramachandra Sahu and Jagannath Sahu arrived on the spot. Till then the snake remained in the room for about three hours.

Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan said there are plans to put in place an anti-drone system to strengthen the security of the temple. The necessary funds will be borne by the temple administration. This decision has been taken when many Utuber and Wlogger have been caught flying drones in the temple complex, which is completely banned.
