There has been a case of arrow attack on ASI (Assistant Sub inspector) deployed under the security of CBI office of Lucknow. Dinesh Murmu, 50, of Bihar, is said to have attacked ASI’s bashing with an arrow. Due to which he was injured and has been admitted to civil hospital. Police have arrested accused Dinesh Murmu at the moment.
ASI Virendra Singh from Lucknow Police Line is deployed at the Lucknow office of CBI. Meanwhile, on Friday, Murmu was standing at the CBI gate. When ASI asked Murmu for a reason to stand, he took a bow and arrow from the bag and killed Virendra Singh. Due to which ASI Virendra Singh was injured and had to be admitted to civil hospital.
The inquiry revealed that Dinesh used to work in the railway at Murmu Bihar but was dismissed from the railway in 2000 due to his aggressive attitude and anger. He has also gone to jail in 2005 for assaulting a Delhi police soldier.
In 2015, Dinesh Murmu was also jailed by GRP from Jaunpur for assaulting a soldier. During his job in the railway, Murmu had complained to the railway track inspector asking for bribe of Rs 200 from CBI. After which the CBI team arrested the track inspector and also sent him to jail.
As soon as ASI Virendra Singh arrived at the CBI gate on Friday evening, he saw Dinesh Murmu standing. He then drove her from the gate after questioning. But as soon as he went a little farther, he took out the bow and arrow in the bag and went away. Due to which ASI Virendra Singh was injured.
