In the case of death of two engineers due to wrongful hair transplant in Kanpur, UP, accused Doctor Anushka Tiwari has become a ‘ghost surgeon’ for the police. The FIR was filed 15 days before the death of power house engineer Vipin Dubey, while an attempt to file an FIR regarding the death of Farrukhabad engineer Mayank is still pending. The police have neither been able to arrest Anushka Tiwari in this case till now, nor have they taken his statement.
It is being reported that Anushka Tiwari is neither a plastic surgeon nor a specialist in hair transplant. Despite this, he transplanted Vipin Dubey on 12 March, which worsened his health and died on 15 March. When wife Jaya tried to file a report, the police evaded for two months. FIR was filed on the night of 8-9 May only after complaint on Chief Minister Portal.
Meanwhile, the case of death of Farrukhabad engineer Mayank also came to light, in which the family has blamed Anushka Tiwari. Police have been demanded to file an FIR, but have just been postponed by the investigation.
