₹1 sent, showing screenshots carrying 1.54 lakh jewels … New kind of online fraud in Alwar

A surprising case of fraud has come out of Alwar. A woman who arrived at the Jewelery Shop in Shivaji Park won the trust of the jeweler in the first 1 rupee account. Then, showing the screenshot of the fake NEFT transaction of ₹1.54 lakh, absconded with two rings and Mangalasutra. Even after two hours, the jeweler felt cheated when the money did not come. Police have registered a case and started searching for the woman based on CCTV footage.

A shocking case of online fraud has surfaced in Alwar district of Rajasthan. Here a woman cheated millions of rupees of jewelry by tricking the jewelry shopkeeper into a hoax. The thug lady came to the shop and did the first 1 rupee transaction, which led the jeweler to believe that the online payment system was working. He then showed a screenshot of a fake online transaction by purchasing jewelry worth 1 lakh 54 thousand 500 rupees and escaped with jewelry.

Actually, this incident is of SK Jewelers located in Shivaji Park area of Alwar. Here on Tuesday, a woman arrived at the shop with a man wearing a jeans-shirt and a baby girl. The woman said that the market is closed and she has to buy a ring and Mangalasutra in the emergency. Merchant Surendra Kumar Soni first refuses because he only makes jewelry, but at the woman’s repeated insistence he shows her the finished goods of an old customer.
